Windows server 2012. SQL EXpress 2012.
Database is created and then get an error.
Fixed it by adding a external storage path on that page. However, ABBYY Man says …
“It looks like the program cannot write the connection string into C:\inetpub\wwwroot\FlexiCapture11\Server\web.config, because it cannot access the necessary IIS directory. Check that IIS root folder and its subfolders are full accessible for administrators group. I also recommend you to try to create a database under built-in administrator account.
Just in case, check in IIS settings that FlexiCapture 11 Monitoring and FlexiCapture 11 Web Services application pools are both:
- A) running under .NET 4.0
- B) running in 32-bit mode ( Enable 32-Bit Applications = True in advanced settings of the pools )
This problem is actually rather “popular”, and it should be fixed if the installation is performed according to requirements specified in admin guide, step by step. It usually happens because of not installed .NET 4.5 for case of Win Server 2012 or because of enabled UAC.
If the above information did not point you to a right direction, then I need for:
1) Windows logs from IIS machine ( Application and System branches, in evtx files )
2) Ainfo report from the same machine, collected by running Ainfo.exe in FlexiCapture 11 Servers installation folder, Support subfolder.
